ITV 2019 idents and presentation - ITV Creates

No, the point is that they're monitors, wires and all. You could just say why not just CGI it, but that would defeat the object of it being an art installation.

Kinda have to agree, the wires surrounding the ITV logo isn’t really something that should be a pleasant thing to see. The only thing that should be seen really is the logo itself being remade with LED screens. The wires could maybe be somewhere behind the walls going through them where the logo is placed and as you’ve said, be mounted. That would be a really great idea to improve the artwork itself especially as it’s being aired as an ITV ident.

And besides, who would want to see wires & socket plugs surrounding an LED powered ITV logo anyway? It’s simple, it can just be placed in a wall with wires being hidden.

I think the whole point of art is that it is subjective...

Gonna be honest, the song at the beginning of this video in my opinion is probably one of my favourite soundtracks from ITV Creates I have ever listened to. What some people that like which ever soundtrack is played from these idents are probably gonna be wondering, who made them?

The dark version was used into the Brits last night, which worked really well as it looked and sounded really modern to match the content.

Just one more day to go, then from Monday. There will be idents which we haven’t even had a preview of yet.

The novelty has definitely worn off with these. Find they very much blend into the background rather than grab your attention.

Soundtrack's not great, that doesn't help.

They should have kept the old itv ident soundtrack or upgraded it. It was a nice wee jingle. We still have it on utv

I prefer the new soundtrack, makes it feel more modern.

But won't you be tired of hearing it come December?
