If nothing else, it's interesting to see how polarising the ITV idents are on here. Normally everyone is either all hate or all love for a particular channel's branding, whereas for this campaign so far it's been quite the mix of opinion each week.

I'd tend to agree. Might have been better if it had been the same idents for a month. Do we know what the plan is for 2020? A new look, or a selection of the best idents from this year?

I don’t mind this weeks idents, it’s nice to see something different with the ITV logo ‘deconstructed’. More movement and variation within the idents themselves would have better though.
With the exception of the cloth idents, I think they’ve all been pretty good so far. They all feel a little safe though, ITV should try and find some bolder pitches for the next set they produce.
