When I did my graphic design course we use to mount everything we display. Once we had cut everything out we use to throw all the scraps of the cut outs on to a separate table. The new endboards look like that table. Rolling Eyes

The ident is nice but seems to have 5 pieces rather than the new 3 so it already does not match.

Break bumper appears to match the promo it’s paired with, colour-matching wise.

Not quite. It was a red bumper out of break and the endboard for the Cleaning Up trailer was green.

Yep, was a coincidence first time!

I really like the new promo endboard style how it falls into place.
With the ident it might be 5 segments but it's not obvious as the i is all one colour, the t is one colour and the v is one colour so it still looks like 3 segments so I think it works well.

One of the new breakbumpers, captured 7 minutes ago:

All looks very clean and consistent though, much unlike how the previous branding had become in its later years. Laughing

In what way had it become inconsistent?

Originally, everything had the ITV logo in one place (from 2013) and it was alright.

In 2017 however, they decided to change the breakbumpers and trailer endboards (resulting in some logo positions changing, and the sudden appearance of huge text in places), whilst leaving the idents untouched.

I hardly think having the same logo in multiple positions means it's inconsistent. 🙄 They were the same across idents, and trailers etc maintained consistency. It's a bit like, for example, the logo on my letter head is in a different size and position to the one on my business card. It's a long way away from the ridiculous yellow logo situation where there were two different size logos used across the idents.
