I wouldn't say it's lazy. I'd call Channel 4 lazy for rerunning the same 4 Block Man idents continually for the past 4 years or so. It'll be nice to see them again randomly!

They've been on air for 26 months. Hardly four years...

Oh I don't know, I come from a time when a globe on BBC1 would spin for years. No variation, no music behind it... just a globe spinning for years.

If that was the same tweet @tvforum got CC’d in then it was from the Wikipedia school of believability to be honest.


ITV getting the most for their money makes perfect sense considering they were only shown for a week at a time, so running it for another year is certainly not “lazy” Rolling Eyes We got 52 idents for starters and that’s without all the variations!

I like the fact that they’re reusing them, it makes sense, however I do feel like they could use different ones in each junction, even if it’s just a few on rotation at first, meaning they can match the mood of a programme to an Ident.

Yes, they are fake because:

1. They are not official
2. Is break bumper footage on a tablet that has Furbies behind it fit for telly?

They are mocks.

Still lazy though.

Doesn't that say something when it seems like they've been on air for almost half a decade when it is actually just over a couple of years? Even jazzing the music up would help or creating a few new ones.
