I'm surprised we haven't had comment about the end of the old 5 part logo?
Does that mean that logo is now no longer used anywhere?
ITV Choice in South Africa still uses the 2013 presentation package, doesn't it?
No, they have a new logo too
Did they get new idents? Because if they're just doing what UTV is and using the new bumpers and trailer graphics but keeping the same idents, they'd still be using the five segment logo.
If I was in charge of it, I'd take the most popular, say, twenty sets and pick the best ident from each and then use them interchangeably, like they used to from 2013-2018. At least then you'd get some variation rather than it being the same for a week, then the same for a week, etc and it would all follow the theme of the ITV logo being put together in creative ways, but it would be a completely different looking 'composition' each time. Surely that would engage the viewer more?

I suppose it lives on at the start of GMB, but that's probably about it. And even that may change on Monday if they've tweaked the opening for the new schedule.
ITV Weather is still using the 5 segment logo, complete with colour-picking.
I suppose that there is a distinction to be made between the station logo of the ITV(1) channel (and ITV Choice overseas) and the corporate/company logo of ITV plc.
The latter is still officially the 5-segment logo, I believe?
If so then the website was also updated early - though I can't be sure when they updated it (I assumed the website design was unchanged other than the logo) as Wayback Machine just gives a blank page, something must be going wrong when they crawl it for the archive.

Erm... ITV cannot afford worldwide artists (they could, just that Choice is their (ITV's) pain spot) so they might (and this is a bad idea) slap the new logo over the old logo on the idents.
Was wondering to with the copyright date - not been paying particular attention (not watched much TV to be honest) but is it the norm for anything to be scheduled for broadcast in the New Year to carry the date of the new year, or do they usually retain the production date. Only spotted it on an actual "new" episode of The Chase the date was still 2019, though that's perhaps more understandable than a soap which would be made for a specific airdate. Indeed I'm sure in the past the new year date has sneaked in early when a programme has been bought forward for some reason.
