ITV 1 is launched

Announcer on YTV has just called it ITV1 with no mention of the station name. Hope this does not happen too often

Yorkshire ITV1 still haven't shown a 'single programme' promo with the new ITV1 endboard.
We've had the Saturday Night one with the menu at the end, and then one for 'Hear'Say its saturday' didn't even have a endboard.

OT Slightly, on the Sky Digital EPG, does it now say ITV1? On Telewest, it says 'ITV Yorkshire'.

Notice the 'steamy hearts' - Will this change on all future 'menu' style promos

I do think that the itv logo looks a bit more interesting with the 1, but the one looks a bit... wrong.
Especially if you look at the trailer I took from HTV, looks badly aligned etc.
But does make it that bit more interesting.
Granada did something very rare - played a lines animation without music. I've never seen Granada do that before - but it works well.
Because the guy can still talk even with an animation.

Unless I'm completely deaf, blind, ignorant, stupid etc... I don't recall that trailer being shown in Carlton(Central)land. I'm sure all we got was that premiership football promo (amended to say 'ITV1' rather than 'ITV', of course).
