Thank You, i spent ages trying to think of a signature that would stick out from all the others and I think that does the trick!
Don't get me wrong I like the Carlton idents in Wales, but I don't want them to rename HTV as Carlton, and they haven't so I'm happy.
It just seems really stupid to have changed the idents in one particular region such a short time before a launch of new national idents. Don't you think?

Well I've been playing around and decided that something like these would look good for ITV1. All ITV regions would use the white bit at the side, and would be free to put whatever they want on the rest of it. Look, this is what I mean:

All that's going to happen on 11th August is the ITV logo is going to be changed into ITV1. That's it, no new idents, just that god awful modification. So much for hope...

But how do you know that? I thought they'd got that English and something or other to make them? You winding us all up again?!?!
I feared a bodge up job like that. Surely we can't be subjected to years more rotating hearts for goodness sake, they've outlived their usefulness, especially without the short films.
Is this definately confirmed, if so where and by who ?

I reckon we'll get proper new ones for the new Autumn schedule. They always do new trailers for then.
