ITV 1 idents

the ITV 1 idents are coming into use on August 11th 2001 and i was just wondering if anyone has em?

are all the itv promotions going to be rebranded as ITV1?

Why would anyone have them? It's hard enough getting current and old versions, let alone versions currently locked in English&Pockett's cabinets! Nice try

By the way, nothing has been confirmed that regions will definitely have new idents on August 11th.

All we know is that the ITV Sport Channel launches on August 11th, that doesn't necessarily mean this will be the ITV1 'launch date'. ITV1 didn't coincide with the ITV Digital rebrand so probably won't with the ITV Sport Channel. I think the best bet is probably an Autumn relaunch with the new schedule. I could be wrong.

Well the ITV 1 rebrand on the EPG on OnDigital kind of coincided with the rebrand, so why can't the re-launch coincide with the ITV Sport Channel?

Does anyone know when the new-look EPGs will appear on ITV Digital? Also, does anyone know if new ITV Digital subscribers have to put stickers on their remotes or not?

Stickers were provided by ITV, and mine is glistening away on the set-top box.

REBRANDING
As a reminder, ITV will be re-branded as ITV1 from Saturday 11 August to help communicate blah blah blah...

So, shiny new idents in 11 days looks like almost a dead cert. Bye bye [current] hearts, you won't be missed!!

Looks like it's definately ON then. I'm not sure we can expect major rebranding, there doesn't seem to have been enough time, maybe just a '1' on the end of the ITV logo ?

Please say they won't just slap a '1' atop the ITV logo and keep the hearts theme! PLE-HE-HEASE!!

I saw an ITV digital poster ad earlier at a bus stop - and Sidekick's remote had a full-colour ITV Digital logo on it! Not fair!!

So, the first ITV1 Ident should be shown at the unusual time of 11.30am then, just before CD:UK

The hearts theme IS being kept though isn't it.
A good cheap idea would be to give all 'hearts' regions Carlton style idents, and Carlton vica versa!

That would seem a strange time to launch your new ident.

I remember previously that idents usually changed at 7pm on a Friday night for some reason ? Or am I wrong ?

Monday 9.25am does seems logical but as ITV Digital's new EPG (I think) amd ITV Sport Channel launches and ITV1 afternoon and evening's new lineups could sway it to being on the Saturday.

The BBC 1 COW ident launched at 7pm, everything else I can think of was launched in the morning.
