ITV 1 Breakdown

During Medics Of The Glen at the end of the break the screen went black a clock came up then an ITV 1 menu appeared with the announcer running down tonights programmes he then paused and said "Now though back to Quincy " of course it was Medics Of The Glen NOT Quincy .

It appears that it did affect the wholel ITV1 Network! Oops!

The announcer just apologised at the end of Medics of the Glen for the technical difficulities and said coming up next really is Quincey - he also apologised for his bad announcing aswell (sort of!)

I don't know about STV i live in Border land i think this is an ITV 1 region well it always says ITV 1 on the idents .

Bloomin hell he has a brilliant sense of humour too the end of Medics Of The Glen on the credits he said "Apologies for the technical fault during Medics Of The Glen they're back tomorrow at the same time ,now next today it realy is Quincy you know sometimes i realy just get so far ahead of myself " . That was a nice touch i thought .

At least Maggie Mash always knew what programmes she was watching .

I expect he just wished Quincy had been on. Medics of the Glen really is poor.

Well i'd say Medics fits in well with all the other **** on ITV .

I didn't see it on Central, all I saw was a silent ITV1 logo. I wondered why he apologised at the end.

Well Central is the only (proper) region left that isnt under control from either London or Leeds!

This would result in the commercial breaks still being transmitted from Birmingham and thereso papering over all the cracks that originate from the London feed.

Why has EVERY region gone to either Leeds or London apart from Central and Channel?
