Some of you are clearly missing something in your lives judging by the way you snipe and bitch until you hound people off this forum. You are the internet equivalent of playground bullies.

I agree, Pootle5, the way some people speak to others on this forum is tantamount to bullying.

and furthermore they should be BANNED!

Let me draw your attention to a few points from the Terms and Conditions of this forum - that we all agree to when signing up:

By posting on this website once you are a member, you agree not to post material which is:

inaccurate and/or defamatory - don't say it if you can't prove it
abusive, obscene, harassing, racist or generally offensive
sexually explicit (i.e. references to media individuals' sexuality)
invasive of a person's privacy (including their private life) or otherwise violate any law.

Additionally:
Contributions must be civil and tasteful
If you use multiple logins for the purpose of disrupting the community or annoying other users you may have action taken against your accounts
Be patient: users of all ages and abilities will be taking part at this website

I suggest some of you read through these terms again as more and more postings are becoming personally abusive and/or offensive to certain individuals.

yes thankyou i agree

we should be talking about TV not peoples spelling

It should be "Yes, thank you, I agree."

Oh, and there should be a comma after "be".

What do they say about people in glass houses? Is it something about not making smug, offensive posts on TV forums?

Looking through the postings on the forum, all members can near enough be defined into three categories:

1. Those who work in the industry.
2. Those (like me) who know people who work/have worked in the industry.
3. Those with a keen interest in the industry.

Most of us can tick 2 possibly three of those categories but at the end of the day when discussing points of TV Presentation is matters not one jolt which number defines you, it's the interest in the subject that brings us all here to 'discuss'.

So whether we can/can't spell correctly or maybe string a sentence together, whether we are 16 or 60 or whether Philip Elmore's pet poddle once cra**ed on your lawn - it's the subject matter that should be the focus and anyone who thinks they are above the other members of this forum should ask themselves why? The reality is .... you ain't!
