ITN Temporary Studio

Yesterday (Monday), I couldn't help but notice that the ITN News Channel was coming from the virtual studio used usually for the ITN Review overnight. At first it was unnoticeable, but it was obvious after a few minutes from the lack of activity and when there were no studio shots before the break and after the headlines.

I have to say though, it looked a lot better than Sky News' virtual studio, and probably to most people was indistinguishable (nice long word, that) from usual. Funnily enough, they were back in the usual studio with no obvious changes. I wonder what they were up to?

Incidentally, does anyone else agree that ITN should have a scrolling ticker at the bottom of the screen?

Yes - definitely! Not too big, though (certainly not as big as the new CNN Headline news ticker that fills half the screen!). But seeing as ITN is much more of a 'bite-size' service than Sky and N24, it would be really good to be able to tune in and get all the information you need on-screen.
