I think this thread is fine for suggesting what you would like to see on James' site but everyone simply asking 'When is the next update?' is a bit pointless. I'm sure James will let everyone know when he has the time to.

OK then, i'd like YTV's Calendar headline titles.
I also would like BBC Regional news' headline titles!

Now, I didn't expect to get a whole thread devoted to my site!

Now I'm afraid I am going to have dissapoint a few of you, I'm afraid the only BBC sounds I have are the ones of my site. I am trying my VERY best to get hold of the Breakfast sounds but is proving very difficult. I can no promises but I try and get them on the site ASAP.

I can't get any sounds for ITV regional news programmes but when I get round to it, will put video's of my DX receptions of the various regions I receive.

I cannot get any sounds from BBC regional news neither, as much as I would like to obtain them, no one at Elstree (South East) seems willing to get them for me! Again, I will try and get these but its unlikely that I will get them anytime soon.

I do plan to put sounds up from ITV News, Channel 4 News, Channel 5 News and the ITN News Channel. I do have these but I am working on encoding them all and getting them on the web.

Also, Isonstine is my nick name and has is now always linked to me, so I tend to use it in things I do. A little silly really Smile

I hope that has answered a few of your questions.

When's the next update?

I hope that the next update will be with in the next couple of days but Spaceports have ordered to remove my site within 7 days or they'll do it for me! Just because its contains copyrighted material! TYPICAL.

Anyway, when I find a good home for the website, i'll post it in here and will update as soon as possible.

Try one of the following:

http://www.f2s.com (No adverts and all the trimmings)
http://www.uklinux.net (No adverts but have to dial in)

Although the site is hosted with someone else, Xoom is usually pretty reliable for putting .zip and .rm files on there without any problems. MP3's (i.e. not in a zip file) are a no-no though.

Cheers,

Well, I'm just sorting out the last few computer problems and when I've done that I'll encode and upload some more sounds at the new home. When I've done it all i'll post the new url here.
BUT, please don't hold me to anything as the computer problems may not be sorted easily. Hopefully, though later tonight (Fri) I'll be able to get back on track Smile
