i would think the beeb would use n24 studio as it is always ready for use. n6 might have to be (turned on e.g. setup the gallery). plus they can get at least 6 guests in the n24 studio at one time.

I remember this music when the day the King(don't know his name) of Jordan died, it was used then, they showed footage of the man, which ended with 'BBC NEWS' on a china red background, the reason I remember it well was because later that day, BBC News 24 had a sound problem, and we were treated to BBC World for three and a half hours!

when is the update going to be? It is such a fab site, but i've downloaded everything on this site, so what's to come, any more sneak previews?

I think James Ison has gone into hiding - he can't cope with the pressure of keeping up with all our questions, for when he is to update his website

Nick, you keep posting this question in the forum! I don't speak for James but I'm sure he has read these posts but probably won't give an exact date or 'sneak preview' just in case he can't fulfill that date (in which case, would provoke even more 'when's the next update going to be' messages).

I suggest you allow James to post himself when he feels the site can be updated.

I remember about a year ago a maniac went bonkers went mad in the BBC Newsroom, and threw furniture through glass walls, and Anna Ford was injured or something. I don't know why everyone hates the Beeb so much - its only £108 a year.

Well, I think its time to make my addition.

I don't know when I will be updating the site but it will probably be Sunday, I'll at least put up the World Today theme from 98 which I did put up there but later realised it was corrupted so I had to delete it.

As for 'sneak previews' I have all the ITN news themes from the present look only. (ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5) I will put those up as soon as possible.

PLEASE, remember, once they're gone they're gone! I do hope to get more sounds. I've never known a site to get so many visitors with so little content!

The sounds have been very popular and I do hope to obtain some more.

Finally, A BIG THANK YOU to Asa who has given me a link on his front page! I'm so pleased and also for his positive comments and feedback which make you realise just what its all for. To share it to the world.

And if I were to blow the place to bits I would make sure that I had Bowen in a 10cm radius of the bomb blast.

OK, I think the thread has served it's purpose.

I don't want to get into a situation where some people can laugh about the bomb and some people be offended by the comments therefore...
