THE SOUNDS ARE EXCELLENT! Especially the BBC World special event music. BTW, they used it on their coverage of the Concorde crash

I won't post any more messages tonight. Asa will get mad because I'm giving myself this much publicity. Smile

Asa? Mad? - I always thought he was such a nice easy-going chap! Smile

Does anyone know what would accompany the Major Event BBC Music on screen.

I dont imagine they'd use bright yellow red and purple graphix.

On their coverage on the Concorde crash they used the special music instead of the normal end music -- so there were no graphical differences. And a little tidbit -- they used the ending of the similcast 'BBC News' with 'Breaking News' caption added for the opening programme titles.

Oh, and will The World Today be added tonight or later?

I can confirm that the music on James' site is the special 'obit' music for BBC World.
The overnight newsteam enjoyed the other sounds on the site - brought back lots of memories for some people on shift!

Spaces have to escaped in URLs.

Outstanding James - how did you manage to get hold of it?
