It's an odd question I know. He's on the highest rating Lottery show, which usually is the highest rating shows of the Saturday nights that it airs. I'm sure part of the appeal is Dale's personalty and his chemistry with the contestants. The last time he did other shows where the revival of Supermarket Sweep about 5 years ago and the first series of Hole in the Wall.
He also stopped doing his Radio 2 show, and was replaced by the equally legendary Tony Blackburn.
But there must be a second format out there for him, when Nick Knowles picks up loads of stuff? Or perhaps he like to do his few days recording a couple of series of In It to Win It and taking a load of time off.
