Is this where Lost was found?

Im currently watching a film called 'Danger Island' on five.

Is it just me or is this very very very similar to the island and the plot of Lost.

Well lost is filmed in Oahu, Hawai'i, near the state's capital, so it is a popular filming location, so it might be filmed in the same place.

Ah, but thats not all. The plot revovles around a bunch of survivors on an island who have been in a plane crash. They discover that the island is not as it seems. Unfortunately thats all I really got to see....the actors were very bland

Probably just sum cheapo show trying to capitalise on Lost's success.

No, what I mean is that the plot is extremely similiar to that of "Lost". I was wondering if this is where the Lost creators got their idea?
