Well all agree the name is awful. Xpose moving into the news studio could simply be work is being done in the larger studio, so the news studio was the only option. Unlike RTE, they only have two studios.

Personally I think Xpose looks better in the news studio than the old Xpose box set.

They might sub divide their larger studio, and Xpose might have their own part of that 5,000 Sq Ft studio

My understanding is that the RTE limit is average six minutes per hour, max nine minutes. I assume TG4 is similar.
I know this is an old post, but aren't there also more specific rules dictated by the Minister? In addition to the maximum of 9 minutes, of course
Specifically in relation to PSBs? I don’t think so. The relevant section is s106(3) of the Broadcasting Act 2009 but it does not confer any power on the Minister in relation to advertising other than to approve the maximum daily and hourly minutes that a broadcasting corporation sets.
