TV3 has introduced new programme specific idents. The choppy frame rate is actually how they are aired on the channel and has nothing to do with my editing process. Videos on Presentation Archive. From what I have heard there is also an Elaine ident and presumably idents for all its Irish shows. The year started off well for Irish presentation!
Knowing TV3's poor choice of music you're probably not missing out on much. One drawn out note, perhaps two! They had the same problem back when they rebranded in 2008 and it continued for many years. Around 2011 you could hear the soundtrack behind the announcer on both channels, but it has since reverted back to silence. I don't like how the continuity announcements start right at the 0 second mark of idents. The visuals on the idents are actually quite nice, improve the logo animation by having it form with a smaller 3D '3' with glass refraction effects and twist/fade animation.
TV3 have a broadcast message on screen informing viewers of the Red Weather Alert in Ireland for tomorrow.

RTÉ have a blue banner on the bottom of the screen to say "RED WEATHER ALERT IS IN FORCE FOR TOMORROW".
The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland have said that emergency broadcast bulletins will be given every 15 minutes which will be broadcasting from all radio stations overnight across Ireland.
#Ophelia#radio The BAI has activated emergency protocols for the emergency broadcast system. Details being sent to all stations.
Did they ever expect their Toy Show to ever compete properly with RTE's Toy Show? The Toy Show is RTE, and that is it. TV3's version was a complete waste of time and money.
Put the money and effort into a decent Christmas schedules. Christmas Day on TV3 is dismal for the Irish viewer.
