I noticed that Be 3's news bulletins now also incorporate the 3 News logo in their opening titles, though they retain their otherwise completely different look.

Did Be3 retain the UTV Ireland presenters? Also how has the takeover and rebrand affected ratings of 3, 3e and Be3?

Great consistency there between the logo on screen and on screens.

The one on the screens is closer to what is used on TV3, but more clunky. Of course TV3's bulletins are at 12:30pm and 5:30pm.

Spotted another new programme specific RTÉ One ident last night. This time for Big Week on the Farm. I have uploaded all four of this years new RTÉ One idents to a new section on Presentation Archive: RTÉ One: 2017 Special Idents & Presentation. In other Irish presentation news Be3 has launched a further two idents and 3e has launched a new ident called 'Juice'. All available on my website with links from the homepage.

Some comparison shots from the new 3News news desk. There is very little difference about this bulletin when compared to Be3 News.

3News at 5:30 is broadcast from the same studio as Be3 News at Seven & Be3 News at Ten.

imho They should have gotten a bigger screen on the right of shot, either real or virtual, and use this shot for down the line.

If you're quick check out Samantha Mumba's instagram story. You'll be able to see how the news and the Six O Clock show are in the same studio directly opposite each other.

It's apparently the original TV3 studio, refurbished for HD. At one point all TV3's in house programmes came from that studio, on adjoining sets.

Seemingly a weekend 5:30pm bulletin will return after a long absence in May - there have been weekend morning sunmaries for about eighteen months now.

One thing I've noticed recently is that some of TV3's commissioned programmes now seem to be adhering to the ITV end credit guidelines (or relatively similar).

A third TV3 ident has been introduced recently. The new ident features the town of Cobh in County Cork. Video available on Presentation Archive: TV3: 2017 .

Not sure about these idents, the soundtracks are very poor and with the lack of variety, the package seems tired after being introduced just a couple of months ago. It is definitely an improvement on the previous neon 3 in a studio branding introduced in 2015.
