Most likely next week, as they would not want to have it announced close to RTE's launch.
RTE new season just feels like the previous seasons, giving RTE credit, as they have little budget, but I must say it is the copy and paste of 2018/2019 season that I had expected.
When is Virgin Media doing their Autumn launch?

Odd that RTÉ's promo videos for their schedules have such lovely graphics and animations, yet their two TV channels have awful looks and presentation. The way that video animates etc/ could easily be a good on screen look for RTÉ 2 (and lets face it, they badly need it). The 2017 (IIRC) video was beautiful and would have made a great look for RTÉ 1.

Would be nice if someone here could make an RTÉ rebrand mock or something like that.
That’s been the case for ever and ever.
Even accounting for its 2014 refresh this RTÉ One look is really getting long in the tooth - some of the 2006 idents are still on air after nearly thirteen years.

I find that true of every station .
Week In Week out the daytime schedule on all channels shows no imagination .
Nighttime is similar if it's 7 or 730 it's a soap .If it's sunday night 9pm BBC1 it's the Big Drama production , saturday coming up to Xmas it's Strictly
It would be nice also to have a refreshed schedule on RTE One - their current line up is appalling in many ways. .

Yes, but at least they are home produced - RTE wave the white flag of surrender from 6.00am until 3.30pm each day and offer imports galore. It would be nice to see at least one or two new home produced morning shows. If Virgin Media Ireland can do it on a shoestring budget, so can RTE.

There will be a small update to Winning Streak this year for it's 30th anniversary.
One of it's newest games, Play or Pay, will be tweaked to give one of it's players another chance to win a car worth €30k.
Electric Dream will still offer players the chance to win an electric car worth €25k.
