The show ran from 1983-85.
I doubt UTV ran it, as it was commissioned for Channel 4, at least in the UK anyway.

Ulster Television produced at least two plays for Armchair Theatre in the early days of ITV: All Soul's Day in 1959 (on 1st November 1959, their second night of broadcasting and their first of "many" contributions to the network, in co-production with ABC, who provided them with free network programmes when UTV first launched), and Boatmen Do Not Tarry in 1968.

Did it say it was a Channel Four production, or a production for Channel Four? AIUI C4 produced very little itself, and instead commissioned ITV companies and independent production companies to make their shows. Could it have been a UTV + AN OTher production for C4?

The credits for the Irish RM (currently shown on RTE on saturday mornings) include one saying a Channel 4 production in association with UTV. When was the programme originally shown on Channel 4, and did UTV ever show it?
Is this the only drama series that UTV were ever involved in?

I recall my parents watched the original run of The Irish RM, can't remember if they watched it on Channel 4 or on whichever RTE channel showed it, but I can't remember what they did at the time.
I know that when repeats were run on TARA about four years ago, the credit at the end of the production (A ??? Films production for Channel 4 in association with Ulster Television and Radio Telefis Eireann) was all that was shown.
A bit OT, when I was at Coleraine I remember seeing a repeat of a Today Tonight/Counterpoint crossover debate programme which was repeated on Channel 4 a few days after its broadcast on UTV and RTE, and its endcap featuring both the Ulster Television oscilloscope and the 1970-1986 RTE logo.
