Sunday 19 October - listings are getting a bit more hazy now as some are repeated from last week which I've omitted.
Wales v Tonga - 9:25 ITV2
--[/quote]

Wales v Tonga is also live on ITV 1 Wales (HTV) with seperate coverage provided by (IIRC) Steve Taylor and Scott Quinnell in Cardiff, Rhodri Davies in Aus and not 100% sure but I'd imagine commentary from Bob Symmonds (although I may be wrong on the last point)

Cheers, but that's not been made available in listings yet. Updated list with what's been made available today.

Yes HTV are showing all the Welsh games live - Sports Presenter Rhodri Davies is in Aus and will be providing coverage every evening on HTV News at 6pm with Jonathan Hill, Lucy Cohen and Zoe Tape.

More details on the HTV Wales website - www.itv1wales.com

Considering ITV1 Wales, UTV and STV/Grampian are too my knowledge showing all their nations games, for once it's the English that lose out - and I think ITV1 are only not screening their game as they are missing one of all the other home nations.

Is that actually confirmed, as the Wales v Tonga match kicks off at 9am.

ITV2's coverage starts at 8.40am, are HTV Wales allowed to opt out of GMTV on their own?

The same goes for the 4th Scotland match which is supposed to be exclusive to ITV2

ITV1 Wales listing is still with Network on Sunday 19th. Listings for Sunday 19th are made final by broadcasters today so they can be in listings magazines on Tuesday - I expect I'll see them appear on Digiguide over the weekend.

Have added what's become available today in dark blue here.

Well the Rugby World Cup didn't start well from a scheduling point of view. It over ran by 10 mins meaning the ITV Lunchtime News with James Mates didn't start until 1.50pm

The regional news section was very rushed, and in the YTV region at least after the regional weather they went straight back to James Mates. The regional news teams were then back in just an hour at 3pm which is a smaller gap than usual!

The Opening Ceremony and opening match did overrun by ten minutes which in my opinion should have been 'absorbed' by firstly dropping the regional bulletin in the 1:50pm 'lunchtime' news. The next regional bulletin was on at 15:00 for 15 minutes and so there wasnt really any requirement to have this 'rushed' bulletin at 14:05 within the 'lunchtime' news.

Dropping the regional bulletin and removing all promotions for Henry VIII could have easily reduced the late running by five minutes with the rest being absorbed by dropping one of the shorter programmes within CITV!

Otherwise a great start to the Rugby World Cup.

Flicking between ITV1 and S4C I noticed that the graphics that someone has already mentioned must be syndicated around the world as S4C carried exactly the same graphics at the same time.

It appeared that ITV1 did insert a few name titles and website graphics here and there - but otherwise they didn't add any itv branding to the proceedings.

Just one other thing to mention - the picture quality on ITV1 was great whereas the same pictures on S4C seemed dull and blurry!

All the graphics are made by Seven Network Australia (Host Brodcaster), but the other broadcasters would probably add a few of their own graphics and things.

I doubt it. This morning's first Ireland match was only shown on ITV2 as it started at 8am. UTV is however showing the match in full this afternoon (Saturday) replacing CDUK and something else which is on network.

Incidentally, I don't believe UTV promoted the live Ireland match on ITV2 - their version only pointed the 2.20 delayed match, which is probably more in their own interests than the viewers they serve...

Please can someone supply that in a standard file format, not a Microsoft one? ITV need shooting for doing that.

Looks like ITV will have the option of widescreen broadcasting:

Also, can anyone find any caps of the presentation for this years tournament. I know for last years FIFA World Cup the presentation graphics were uploaded to this forum.
Some matches are also in HDTV, yesterdays opener was. Point your dishes at Freecom’s satellites, has Australian commentary though.

I think if they let GMTV sell some HTV airtime, then it could be done.
