Further to my previous post
S4C will screen over 20 live games and over 25 highlights and preview programmes from October 8 to the live final on November 22. A regular highlights programme will be shown during the mid evenings and all matches in Wales' group (including Wales' games) along with a number of key clashes, the 1/4 finals, the semi's and the final will be shown live.
Most of the matches will be shown simultaneously on S4C and S4C Digidol (digital), with some matches and programmes repeated at diffrent times on digital

Being the other side of the planet and all, Australia takes its daylight savings time during our winter, but I don't know which date they switch to summer time.

ITV2 are currently showing promotions for the Rugby World Cup but only feature England in the promotion.
Do the powers that be at ITV2 headquarters know that ITV2 is broadcast throughout the United Kingdom and that there are teams from Ireland, Wales AND Scotland also playing in the tournament this year.
The way ITV1 has been working is that each Country has its own version of the promotion heavily featuring their particular region but on ITV2 (just because it is run from England) the promotions appear to be the England versions only which is leaving a bad taste in my mouth everytime I see it on ITV2. Im sure if the Welsh or Scottish equivalent promtion was broadcast in England there would be uproar.
Surely a generic UK-wide promotion has been made for ITV2 and ITV News Channel?

Quite suroprised how much they are screening. I thought they might screen all the Welsh games, but it looks like their might be more live rugby on S4C than ITV1 - I guess it's bye bye RI:SE then!

A comprehensive one-hour highlights programme will be shown three times on the days there are Rugby World Cup matches. These will be at:
19.00 on ITV2
21.00 on ITV News Channel
23.00 (approx.) on ITV1 weekdays (mid afternoon on weekends)
Get your facts right, the News Channel does have coverage, Teletext was right.
Old ITV2 logos - get it right ITV Sport! (for the umpteenth time!)

S4C's matches will be in Welsh, but if their coverage is the same set up as its club rugby coverage then subtitles will be provided. I'm not a 100% but I'm pretty sure that HTV are showing all of Wales' matches and will be opting out of national coverage for all of Wales' games.

Sorry having a bad grammer day. What I ment to say was that HTV are showing ALL of Wales' games on ITV 1 Wales, and when Wales are playing I'm pretty sure that HTV will be opting out of ITV National coverage and providing viewers with their own programme, which is not a bad thing in my opinion as ITV''s team (again in my opinion) is not exactly the strongest "pack".

This is what you said "Some matches are on ITV News Channel" - that statement is clearly wrong, there are NO matches on the ITV News Channel, there is a highlights programme.
