I didn't see it on TV but as the as the version on IPlayer has the credit squeeze stretched (if you can stretch a squeeze, I don't know) then I would say it is only a problem with the IPlayer version. I'm sure it would have been noticed if it was going out in the wrong ratio on BBC Two (by the Internet if not by whoever was playing it out). You should let them know, its available for a week so they have time to change it. If you watch it on G.O.L.D then it will probably be cut to fit it in to a stupid time slot.
Just watching Porridge on BBC iPlayer, in the 16:9 video window, and the 4:3 picture is stretched to 16:9. I would at least expect black pillarboxes. I'll have to wait until tomorrow when it's on GOLD to watch it properly. I wonder if it's the same on the TV version.
