Seeing that BBC News 24 is broadcasting on the Internet, does anyone knows any other channels worldwide that broadcast on the Internet?

RTE Ireland broadcast most of their news and current affairs online.

itvlocal offer probably the best quality streaming around at 1762kbps.real TV quality I would say www.itvlocal.com. I suggest you only watch the weather videos from Merdian south when Gemma Humpries is on of course

If it was MPEG2, you'd be right - codecs have moved on since then. Windows Media Video 9 at 1762kbps looks like nearly real TV quality to me. Not that I'd ever get those kind of rates with my ISP
