BeIN Sports studio for the AFC Asian Cup which (judging by the skyline behind it) is in Doha rather than UAE where the tournament is:

This was on the FTA BeIN Sport channel, the actual coverage of the matches in English and Arabic is on the BeIN MAX channels at an extra cost (even for subscribers to the rest of the BeIN package) for the tournament.

In the Netherlands, the much-beloved character Loeki de Leeuw (Loeki the Lion), whose shorts bookended the adverts on the NPO channels until 2004, made a (one-off, for now) comeback on Wednesday evening:



The unexpected return happened after a radio show started a petition to bring Loeki back, which got 10,000 signatures within 24 hours. Ster (the company that sells the ad space on NPO) has said that they're considering bringing Loeki back permanently.
