I may be in the minority here but I just don’t get them. They’re visually pleasing, the Celtic audio logo and ambient sounds are lovely, but I don’t understand the visuals; for example I watched the Ident with the rabbits and appreciated the design and construction of rabbits diving between the holes, when people were mixed into proceedings I became confused.
Plus the Ident with the creature at the sea gave me vibes from channel 4’s not so well received idents a few years ago.
To each its own.
For me Channel 4's were often just strange full stop, but at least these use more CGI, have a more fun approach, not to forget TG4 has always been a bit strange and quirky full stop.
And idents HAVE to be sometimes risky and fun, sometimes I noticed British TV ones have become less "risk-taking", or sometimes too complex , even when not needed. Sometimes less (especially less live action) is more , and sometimes more (especially CGI) is OK, if you know what I mean
