BTW, how the short version, break bumper and news countdown would look like?
The short version is nothing more than 5 or 6 seconds of that ident, with the channel musical notes on the last 2 seconds.
The break bumper is the same as the short ident, only with the text "PUBLICIDADE" (Ads) left to the small RTP1 logo.
The news clock hasn't changed since 2006.
RTP has said there will be more RTP1 idents in the near future.
It would funny if some comedians make a spoof with old RTP logo and the downfall of Estado Novo? (If you feel offended, PM me, then I'll remove this message.)
Lol, that's no problem. It's a funny idea, and a good metaphor.
But one thing is sure: continuity presentation must return if RTP1 wants to impress its viewership. Nowadays it seems that the RTP channels are run by nothing more than a computer with a playlist.

And how RTP Acores, Madeira, Internacional, Africa and Memoria would look like, as well as trailers of RTP1 shows?
RTP Açores and Madeira? These didn't change, because they have an extremely low budget. Their programming is made of mostly repeats, and the channels themselves do seem quite amateurish. Unfortunately, I can't watch them (in television) because I live in Mainland Portugal.
RTP Internacional and África? The very same as RTP Açores and Madeira.
RTP Memória? Well, they changed their identity yesterday, and you can see some examples here and here.
RTP1 trailers are the same, but with these graphics used less frequently since the ident changed.

Loving the theme music on those idents... on a non presentation related note as I've never been to Portugal I always assumed (wrongly) that their language would be close to that of Spain's - it sounds almost eastern European to me...

Saw closedown on DR1 (00.35) and DR2 (00.25) just went to the showing tomorrow's schedule, at least DR2 had a little bit of speech when it started showing their schedule for tomorrow.
