Hi,

I'm a student from Austria and I'm writing a work about Pay-TV in Austria. In this work I also take a look at the current Pay-TV-situation in the UK as BSkyB is known as the most innovative Pay-TV-company in Europe. Interesting for me are the interactive features of Sky, like

* Sky Bet
* interactive games like Monopoly or "Who Wants to be a millionaire"
* Sky Bet Vegas

Maybe someone can describe me these interactive features? How do they look like and how do they work? For example "Who Wants to be a millionaire?" => is this game offered only parallel to the TV-show (with the same questions) or can I play it everytime I want?

Thanks a lot,

Rene

The Interactive Games such as Monopoly and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, are games that you can play anyime. As for look well, i guess they look similar to how they are if play them on the internet, maybe someone with better describing skills can help more.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire the TV program does have an interactive play along facility on the broadcast of ITV on Sky. This simply puts up the question and the possible answers on a display on top of the one on the broadcast. You then have the option of sending your score to them to win a prize (money I think).

First of all thanks to SiGa for your answer, but are these interactive features so unknown, that nobody else has a short statement for me... Wink

About Millionare, there is now 2 versions. One on Sky Gamestar which is a game you can play whenever you want with it's own questions.

One is on ITV1 which you play live and broadcast at the same time Millionare is. The idea is you have to awnser the question the contestant is trying to awnser.
