Thought you would like to know, there will be NO new on-screen graphics for the Sky News relaunch. The ones launched at the General Election announcement are here to stay.

But...

Yes they ARE definately having a new set including the newsroom!

Also I had an email from Sky, saying `refurbishments` were taking place

I didn't really expect and new on screen, but are they not even introducing a new logo?

So, there ARE most certainly building in the newsroom! Excellent, maybe we can have a water feature after all.

There is to be a new logo, that director at Sky said so.
They have altered the astons slightly today, so the font is correctly sized etc, and I expect different animations, i.e. the white bit slides in and the green bit pops up will be put back too.
Either way, the new graphics have really grown on me, not as distracting as the old ones and the breaking news animation is really good.
But as long as a new newsroom and studio are coming in I am one happy bunny
