Talking of TVS does anyone know who owns the former Meridian dream factory in Southampton

Pass. Full of asbestos though so god knows how many more years they'll be left dormant before someone decides to redevelop the land.

Thats why I want to look around now, its SOO tempting driving past every day.

I'm surprised nobody has rescued the "memorabilia" before the steel ball knocks the place to bits. Mind you, you'd obviously get into trouble but I doubt anyone would notice if you took a few Central TV business cards and a red telephone (?)

Probably because AIUI the 28 days later forum is more dedicated to exploring decaying buildings than collecting what they might consider to be old tat! One man's trash and all that ...

Did this lot ever go around Pebble Mill ?

I doubt it, the BBC moved out, they auctioned off what was left and it was demolished in virtually a year or so.

Well, fascinated that I am I've had a look and cannot find a trip to PM. Shame. From a TV point of view, they have however, visited Brookside Close, BBC Scotland QMD (as discussed above), Big Brother House and the former National Gardens Festival 1984 Site at Liverpool where the Blue Peter competiton garden (a red and yellow dragon, where the tongue/mouth was a slide!) looks still to be relatively intact and looking very sorry for itself amidst graffiti, rubble and overgrowth. Remember visiting that myself in 84 and being a bit let down by the thing!

Presumably, ITV Central use it as a skip?

Confused: Just out of curiosity - how have these photos been taken in the 1st place? Have these people broken into the building, or have they had permission from the demolition people who are ripping the insides out? Seems a bit dodgy if you ask me... Confused:

100% dodgy - that's mainly why they do it, as well as getting some great images like these before the places are lost forever.
