Inside The Actor’s Studio’s James Lipton has died

The programme aired in the US on Bravo and Ovation network and was shown in the UK on Sky Arts and had previously aired on ITV and Performance Channel.

The Simpsons one was strange, with Julie Kavner just disappearing half way through, but her chair still being there for a while afterwards before later being taken away. I always wondered if she just walked out on the show or something, I know she's very private about her role on the show.

Yes, I believe something in her contract states (or stated) not to be filmed doing the voices. Reportedly, she was also double booked at the appearance and had to leave during filming, which is why she is not in the second half of the episode.
