Hi all,

Apologies for my first post being a request, but we're after some information, if anyone can help.

A while back (could be 1 or 2 years), I saw a program where a group of unruly teenagers were sent to a correction facility, set in a country house (in the UK). The 'teacher' was a woman, and I think the program was on in the daytime. I seem to remember the boys were put in a set-up situation where they were to chat up girls, and ask them to a dance.

We're after information about whatever the program was called, or even better if anyone knows where the house is (we have someone we need to send to somewhere like this!).

Any help is very much appreciated.

Sounds like Ladette to Lady . The girls were sent to a finishing school at Eggleston Hall in the North East of England to become proper ladies.

Surely the North-East is the last place you would send someone to show them how to be a proper lady Laughing Laughing Laughing

Thanks for the reply, but it's not that one.

This one was all about teenage (13 - 15 yo) boys. The lady teacher in question was also working totally alone. I'm sure there were no other 'staff' around.

Could it have been as a feature on Trisha or Jeremy Kyle or something?

No, it was definately it's own show, but it was a one-off, rather than a series like Bad Lad's Army or Brat Camp and the like.

I think the big problem is that it was a daytime show, and therefore a lot less people will have watched it. I also didn't realise at the time that my nephew would be a candidate to visit a place like this, and so didn't pay enough attention to it. I've phoned ITV and C4, but neither seem to recall it.

I do remember a similar programme like this, but the one i remember both the boys and girls had some sort of issue, like tourettes, ADHD or something? Buggered if i can remember the name of it though, i'm sure the one i'm thinking of was primetime as i don't watch TV during the day normally. Might it of been a repeat?
