As for BBC4, I caught their 'Britpop Night' by accident on Tuesday night.... a great night of programmes

That was fantastic, wasn't it? Can't believe it's been 10 years since Country House and Roll With It were released...

I watched this too and loved it. Really took me back (and made me feel old!) Used to be a massive Pulp fan and was thrilled to see the repeat of the "No Sleep Till Shefffield" documentary on the band that originally went out in 1995. Can't believe that was ten years ago - I've probably still got it on video somewhere.

I wish I'd seen it, as I was also very into Britpop at the time.

Talking of Pulp, I managed to see them live at the Town and Country Club in Leeds in 1996. At one point between songs, Jarvis Cocker talked about how great it was to be in Leeds, "the home of Look North and Calendar... Judith Stamper and Harry Gration... Richard Whiteley and Christa Ackroyd." Nice to know I wasn't the only TV anorak there. Very Happy
