Do we know if ITV receive incentives to return to Queensland every year?
I know the Aussie states quite often contribute to Aussie shows to attract them to their state, so wondering if they do that with foreign filming too and that is why ITV stay there rather than take the opportunity to freshen things up by switching to another of their bases (i.e. Africa, and previously Costa Rica).

Production wise Australia works best due to the timezone difference. If South Africa was used the live stuff would be in the dark and be late nights for the camp-mates every night.

Is this the first year it's only app voting?
Not for the trials. The celebs have their numbers on their backs so phone voting will be back for the eliminations.

The German one is filmed on the same set with some of the same crew which no doubt makes things a lot cheaper. The ratings are just so consistent I guess they don't feel like they need to rock the boat.

TBH I think axing Scarlett and Joe was for the best because they were terrible. Joel I think they're trying to build up hence why he's getting this and shows like Singletown and The Masked Singer. I reckon if Roman Kemp gets far enough into the show, he'll be asked to host next year's Extra Camp.
I wonder has Joe Swash left of his own accord or has he been axed. I’m sure Extra Camp is his only annual work.

The phone votes are only used for the evictions, it’s been the case for a while now.

It’s slightly odd that they’ve harked back to the 2016 series to bring in Adam Thomas though at this stage
Yes if Roman Kemp does well (and to be fair I can see him in the top 3) he’ll be a shoe in for some ITV presenting gigs
