What a non-story. Since when was it illegal to destroy a rat, or any other form of rodentia?

Apart from that, it wasn't killed for sport or entertainment, but to be eaten.

Bad decision to go public with this from the NSW authorities, considering the lengths the production team go to maintain and restore the site every year not to mention the money they pay. A quiet word in the producer's ear would have stopped this or anything like it happening again.

Unlike half the bugs and creepy-crawlies used in the programme which get destroyed gratuitously for our entertainment. If you're going to start getting upset about rats, why not invertebrates as well?

The whole thing is such a pathetic load of *****!

You see, if they'd killed Katie Price and ate her.. I could understand it.

Sounds bad. I presume you'll be selling that story to The Mirror or something..?

So Katie Price is essentially just an economy brand sausage.

Not that I'm on to say, "I told you so..."

Quote:
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! producers have reportedly started to regret recruiting Katie Price for the jungle.

According to the Daily Star, the programme's bosses were forced to "lay off" cameramen and scrap plans for expensive bushtucker trials because so much of their budget was eaten up by paying for the glamour girl.

Price, whose fee was rumoured to be £350,000, later quit the jungle after just one week.

A source said: "The booking of Kate Price has really cost this show. A lot of money was spent on her and, as a result, cuts had to be made elsewhere.

"The producers genuinely thought having Jordan go back into the jungle after her split from Peter Andre would be a great coup. But it has blown up in their faces."

The insider added: "Cuts had to be made. ITV is already cash-strapped like other stations. But a huge slice of their jungle budget went on Jordan. Now they are wondering, 'Was it worth it?'"

I was featured in the final few mins of the reunion show (last Mon, 9pm ITV1) when the celebs left the jungle and went to the Versache hotel! Stood there long enuf, innit (from 11am - 4pm) waiting for them all, then went Maccas for a bit from 12pm and returned at about 12.45pm! Saw everyone except George, Ant and Dec! Sam gave me two kisses and pinch on my bum, hehe! Cool

PS - Tried to search on You Tube for it (as I can not access ITV content from outside the UK) but if someone does have the bit when the final 3 arrive into the hotel I would be very thankful!
