It amazes me ITV could afford to do another series, flying out all those celebs (loose usage of the word) to the other side of the world and so on... then again the programme has phonelines!

A year ago I would have suggested that they split the costs with the US version - except the last series (made by Granada) for the US was made in Costa Rica.

It's a brilliant show though. I wouldn't miss it.

It is one of their biggest shows to be honest - and with ITV having a bumper end to the year, why surpass the opportunity to generate lots more revenue?

It's very popular and is on at the time of the year where there is the most demand for advertising... it must make a bit even without the phonevotes.

I'm not sure it's that expensive in TV terms, especially given the number of hours of TV time it fills

...It is a brilliant show, yes I agree to that too! I heard this year they shall open the phone lines to Australian viewers, and that it would be shown the same day, maybe a hour or two delay from ITV... can anyone confirm or was this just yet another show rumour?!

I think the time is right for a location change. It started to feel a tad stale last year (although still very watchable) so a new location will put a whole new lease of life on the show. There is definitely a demand for it though just as there is for this type of show, and with Channel 4 showing increasing ineptitude with Big Brother year after year, it is only IAC's gain.

Caroline Flack will be presenting the ITV2 show (brilliant choice!) with Joe Swash as an on location reporter.

Is Joe Swash coming to Australia to be a location reporter or is that all from ITV2 in London?

What do you think "on location" means?

Yeaaah, alright... BUT it could also mean he may present from London too, but will be cool he's coming back to Aus!
