Is the strong line on I'm A Celeb this year with the salary that goes with it one of the reason why the Saturday night schedule is so limited and pants on ITV with films taking up the entire autumn schedule wise? #JustSaying

No, that was realising that going up against Strictly is a thankless task. The films have rated better than the programmes on last year in any case.
What is everyone’s opinion of Anne now?
I know she’s going on a journey, but personally, I’ve never heard anyone say ‘I’m a Celebrity...’ so many times and to get far on this show you need to get stuck in, so I’m thinking she should probably be voted out within a few days.

X Factor has proven not to be able to beat Strictly on a Saturday night, usually with a four or five million viewer gap in the overnights between the two main shows. So ITV took a business decision, and offer an alternative, films, which are great for advertisers and cheap to fill two hours.
The Voice will be the big filler from January on ITV, in competition with The Greatest Dancer on BBC One. That will be interesting to see which one wins the ratings battle.
As Charlie stated, only 7 minutes to vote, along with the fact that their are strong names and characters this series, it was a Friday night and payday for many which could have reduced viewers, and like myself I’m sure that many record the programme to skip through the adverts.
I never get why people blame limited voting windows - surely there aren't thousands of people who take 8 minutes to find their phone. I think the I'm a Celeb votes have generally been within the show too rather than between shows, so the only factor (and it caught me out) is those watching on a delay. That said those who are so invested in the show they generally vote are more likely to always watch live.
Also if anything being on Friday on the last day of the month should have made Noel safer with an older audience watching. I suspect many thought he was safe and threw votes elsewhere - I was certain James was a gonna considering he'd barely featured all series in comparison to the others.
I'm struggling to think of a more shocking elimination from one of these reality shows at the moment...
Pamela Anderson's first round exit from Dancing on Ice caused quite the collective gasp at the time.
Noel played a canny hand with his "if I win I'll retire" statement... the fact that he was the first to leave could be seen as evidence that that is the last thing the viewing public want.
Did anyone here vote for Noel? Did anyone here vote for anyone?
