Least they have reduced the amount of times its shown during the year, when it first started it was shown around every 9 months not every year. Maybe this series isnt as popular as we think.

It was never 'every 9 months', it was more just fitting in with Ant and Dec's other shows such as Takeaway and Pop Idol
The first one was August 2002, it was a big hit for the summer schedules so they brought it back in April 2003, then almost a year later in January 2004, then with Ant and Dec no longer involved in Pop Idol, it returned in November 2004 then November 2005
Andrew, I said the show was on AROUND every 9 months when it first strarted.

Um , April 2003 to January 2004 IS 9 months, hardly what id call "Almost a year". 11 months to me would be almost a year.
Anyway my point is that the series isnt on as much as it used to be as it appears to be on once a year now. Before that there were 4 series in the space of 2 years and 3 months (Aug 02-Nov 04).
I wonder if they'll be scraping the barrel, like they are with Love Island. I bet we'll have the sister of the ex-wife of Brian Dowling's best mate at school.

Difference between I'm a Celeb and Love Island is Ant & Dec actually make it funny and watchable. Or so I've heard?

They're beyond scraping the barrel now. However, if one of the nauseating Hervey sisters turns up in the jungle .. it won't be just them that screams....I'll be throwing the TV out the window.
