If they'd managed to hear a reply then the story would make sense.

I think these producers must have gone to the same media college as the X Factor ones - what with all their endless dirty linen airing.

They only have to walk 100 yards through the word (sorry, "jungle") anyhow to get to the hotel to see them anyway!

Thank goodness they're not communicating with the outside world via live 'bush telegraph' interviews on ITV2 by answering viewers questions...

VT played at the wrong time during the show. It had to cut back to the studio and Ant and Dec whilst the correct VT was cued.

why do ant and dec cover their watches with black tape? and why don't they just take them off, it would be easier for them ?

Never noticed although I guess it's to stop any shots accidentally showing the "real" time. IIRC Celeb is delayed by a few mins.

Last night was a prime example why the programme should either have a short credit sequence for occasions where they're overrunning or be allowed to run the credits across the bottom, especially given there's rarely an ECP to follow.

Ant and Dec have said many times on Twitter it's so the celebrities don't see the time. The reason they don't take them off is because they can look under the tape.

Although the show is live it seems to me the bit where they announce who is leaving the show must be pre-recorded during the preceeding ad break. There isn't enough time to get back to the studio during the montage that lasts about a minute.

It is recorded. You'll notice the live graphic isn't there during that part whereas it is during all the other Ant and Dec segments.
