If that list is correct then there are quite a few people that I've actually heard of this year

I can see Have I got News for you viewers tuning in for one or two of those celebrities, which may bring the programme to a new more upmarket audience

Pfffft. Have you been taking the funny pills?

Or how Kilroy manages to find the time, considering he is (supposedly) a serving MEP. Not that us good folk of the East Midlands have heard much from him, since he became an independent and "shafted" UKIP Wink

Well the precedent was set when George Galloway entered the Big Brother house as a serving MP. I doubt the people of the East Midlands will notice whether their MEP was around or not for a few weeks.

I'm sure they won't-- he's been 'absent' for the past three years after all...

To be fair to Galloway, there were other instances before that, such as Ann Widdecombe on Celebrity Fit Club (while she was a serving MP).

I noticed Kilroy got in his 'being sacked by the BBC' rather quickly, or at least by the producers.

He's being a complete pr*ck already. I'm going to hate him.

"What do you do?"
"I'm fiance of Joe Cole who plays for England"
"Yeah we don't wanna know that..!"

To be fair he asked "what do you do" rather than "who do you do?".

I'd sooner see him on screen than a wag.

The bus is an incredibly loose reference to George Takei's appearance on a mid 80's BBC kids show presented by Bill Oddie where he drives a double decker bus.

Really it is.

Can anyone beat that?

I haven't watched much of it, but how are Brian Paddick and Robert KS getting on? Given they are political opposites, I would think there will be tension before too long...
