I'd like to see Janice win, but I suspect it will be Biggins. Which should please ITV who have blatantly fixed it for him, in preparation for the new show they've already signed him up to host.

So it's Biggins, Janice and J in the final, who do you want to win?

The digitalspy forums are unreadable at the moment as they all seem to hate Biggins and have a conspiracy theory based on it being fixed for him to win

Well Biggins already "auditioned" his chatshow in the jungle. Personally I'd like to see him win, he's an entertaining bloke. I reckon J will win though.

I would like Christopher Biggins to win, he has made the mood lighter on the show after the arguments between Franks, Dickinson and Marsh. He had me in stitches after he threw the rat off of his bed!

This series has once again shown how much better I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is compared to Big Brother. It is shorter, more interesting as the contestants are not in a comfortable environment, and well presented with Ant and Dec being the faces of it.

If he is free from pantomime commitments next year, I expect Biggins will host I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here Now!.

I hope he doesn't. He's my tip to win, but I hope they invite Matt and Emma back next year to present the ITV2 show. They've done a fantastic job this year with Matt being a surprisingly natural and capable presenter. Mark, as usual, has been great. It's taken a few series to get it right, but I think this year's spin-off show has been very entertaining.

If Ant and Dec left I'm a Celeb would be absolutely nothing. They are the key ingredient to the shows success.

As for comparisons with Big Brother - well, it's probably fairer to compare with Celebrity Big Brother. I think the difference between the two is that while CBB, like BB, can be brilliant one year, utter crap the next, I'm a Celeb has kind of found a happy medium so it's always about the same. I also find it very predictable with the same trials year in, year out.

I might concede that overall I'm a Celebrity probably compares better to Celebrity Big Brother, I'd definately say that when Big Brother get it right, it's head and shoulders above I'm a Celeb.

Of course though when they get it wrong, as they did this year with both the celeb series and the main series, they get it spectacularly wrong.

Wonder if his former 'co-presenter' from 'On Safari' (Remember that 'gem' from TVS / CITV / Watch It ! from the early 80's?), Gillian Taylforth will be in the audience at some point?

I thought Matt and Emma's main contribution was to remind one quite how funny and natural Ant & Dec can be...! And as for Mark, he has the personality of cold rice pudding.

Oh I think Mark is really very good.

Your observation about Matt and Emma is spot on though.

It wouldn't be as good but it's still a strong enough show to survive without Ant & Dec. Kate Thornton brought nothing to the X Factor, Schofield & Willoughby brought nothing to Dancing on Ice and Davina brought nothing to Big Brother but all those shows still hobbled along. The hosts aren't really all that important to these type of shows, the fact that Ant & Dec actually do a good job is just the icing on the cake. Ally Ross pointed out in his column today just how superior Ant & Dec are compared to Davina and other lesser talented hosts, using the moment when Marks letter to Cerry's was read out as an example. They didn't ruin the moment and just said nothing. Whereas gobsh*te McCall would have gurned and squawked on for 5 minutes. Rolling Eyes

Nonsense. The show wouldn't be as good, admittedly, but to say the show would be nothing is a ridiculous statement to make. It's the celebrities who make it at the end of the day, and not even Ant and Dec can save the show if the characters aren't delivering. I have to say, overall, it's been very well cast this year. The inclusion of Janice, Lynne, Rodney, John and Biggins was brilliant and has provided some classic moments. The downside was we still had the bores, one of which has made it to the final which is unbelievable.
