I can hear the sound of a can of Daily Mail worms opening here!

Presumably normally there is no second place option, but they introduced it tonight to make good live TV.


They do often exclude people on medical grounds, which I imagine will happen with Gillian on the next trial.

Yeah but whilst they will loose a little bit of Phone line revene ( for refunding Gillian's) it's perfect for tonight as it will no doubt quite a bit of press/newspaper coverage !


Don't you find it makes for dull TV ? She's not in the least bit entertaining.

Are they going to refund last nights then when she refused ? No mention of that.

Why should they - the premise of the show is forcing the celebs to quit such things.

It is shocking though that 10 series in they've not sorted out the fundamental flaw in the format. It wouldn't be too difficult - at it's simplest not permitting the same person to be voted for consecutively, or making it more complex so those doing trials can earn immunity from the next by either winning all the stars or perhaps exchanging stars won for immunity.

Any member of the public who voted for Gillian McKeith will automatically receive a refund from ITV on their BT, mobile, Virgin Media or red button bill. It was mentioned on the ITV Celeb website yesterday.

Also, Ant & Dec said that Celeb is back on Thursday at 8pm, whilst the CA said it was back at 8.30pm on Thursday...

I have ITV1-Granada and she did definietly say 830pm - be same as last week 1 hour emmerdale f/b corrie f/b IACGMOOH

Anyone think Davina should have a presenting role next year to sort of revamp the programme so it doesn't grow tired but Keep Ant and Dec

Ant and Dec are the best thing about I'm a Celeb. They're so natural and funny. Caroline Flack is also doing a pretty good job this year on ITV2, so I wouldn't want to see Davina present.
