I'm A Celebrity

Apparently theres going to be changes to the extra i'm a celeb thats usually hosted by Tara PT. There will be the usual gossip from the jungle for this part of the programme but there will also be a London studio set up where the host will speak to families and friends of the contestants.

I read it in the Daily Star, so not sure how much truth is init.

I do have to say I like the jungle touch they have made to the presentation.

I think Jan Leeming has been on every "I'm a celebrity" wanted list since the show began.

Oh, I see ITV1 have gone all out with the idents.

I do like the breakbumpers. Brightens them up a bit.

I'm glad Square Eyes has put that list at the top, It'll be easy to compare with the real list when it starts

I remember last year Sara Cox was 100% definally confirmed as going in, which caused her amusement on her radio show

Lets face it, the real list will be full of people we've never heard of - i.e some brainless model or Lady Wotserface from Great Barnsleyfield.

I agree, I am loving the jungle theme that they've given the idents and break bumpers.

A clever way of incorporating a theme without totally changing the design.

And they do make the presentation look a lot better, even though they haven't done much.

I wonder whether they have anything similar planned for Christmas, though of course I hope it isn't just something over the logo over the usual idents, but incorporating the logo with it's usual placement would be a good option.

Maybe ITV could do that with more programmes... maybe have an ITV ident 'painted' on the cobbles of Coronation Street for instance before an Coro episode of Coro starts or something . Just a thought, better than the Duke of Giblets patting his fat gut in front of the mirror

I'm hoping the Christmas idents actually have Christmas scenes, rather than, like you said, just making the logo sparkly but keeping the normal scenes.

Granted though that's all that they've done since 2003, they added the sparkles and then the snowflakes around the logo on the celeb idents, and for the past two year, all they've done is christmas up the logo, though of course the whole ident was the logo.

I think for Christmas I'd like to see a Christmas village or santa's workshop, etc. with fairies, elves, and other Christmas characters putting glitter, hanging lights and decorating up the logo, which could finish with them turning on the lights to reveal the word Christmas also glittering away in between the ITV1 and end shape.

It would be interesting if they could do something like this, but leave have different angles, with the logo in the same place, so effectively you'd be looking at the logo from the side and above, etc.

And then of course you would have you're branding for the trailers, etc. with the Christmas characters, that they could then roll out across the other channels, by wrapping them around and glittering up the logos.
