I'm a fan of the old US series 'Bewitched' , Im 21, male from the midlands. I'm sure i'll be the only one in england who would ever say this but Celebrity Big Brother or Bewitched at 9am in the morning on channel 4... I know which Id rather have by a long shot Shocked

Anyway, The show is NOT alavilable on 'commerical' dvd. I have my own VCD's ive made from battered old recordings. alot the qulity is awful
I know also they will never release them all on DVD. i think they will release some in june but I don't think they will ever get furthur than season 3, So I would love Channel 4 or another channel to show season 4 thru 8. so I record them straight to DVD in perfect quality
I keep telling myself sooner or later, one channel on sky will surely do it

I've seen quite a few of the episodes from various runs, so probably not in any order. I hear there was a spin-off series in the States called 'Tabitha' - has this ever aired in the UK?

Yes it has, and I have a copy of 7 episodes on a tape.

But again the qulity is bad, I have BW season 1 to 3 in near perfect qulity, well SP VHS qulity ive made into DVDS

as I now have a DVD recorder and im just sitting on my tod hoping that its gets re-run again. so I do just record straight from live in the perfect qulity I now get with shows like 'my hero' and 'little britain'

Its seasons 4 thru 8 im really hoping for tho, the qulity gets unwatchable in my season 8 prints. Im just crying out for a UK network to buy and show BEWITCHED again from start to end... its been re-run enough times before why stop now ive got the dog b**locks capturing epquiment

If you want to get Bewitched back, posting messages about it here will achieve precisely nothing.

Write to TV stations directly. That *might* achieve something.

At one point or another has Channel Four shown all seasons of Bewitched? What episodes were Plus showing last year?

I did enjoy the show - not with the same enthusiasm as bewitched_fan of course! I remember it being on Four in the mid-80s about 5pm.

I know channel 4 only showed the first 3 seasons last year, rthens topped, which is a shame. I would quite like to see the Dick Sargent episodes, even though people say they were awful.

Was he the ugly Darren? I remember I didn't like one of them.

Wish I could remember more about Tabatha, the spin off series featuring the daughter.

The website suggests that "Tabitha" was never shown in the UK; but it must have been for me to (albeit vaguely) remember it.

Any similarly old goats here who can back me up?

This old goat remembers watching 'Tabitha' on BBC1 back in about 1978. I also remember there were half a dozen episodes. Apart from the theme tune which went "Some people have it, some people dont....It could be magic, oooh yeah", the plots weren't memorable.

That makes sense, as debuted in the US in 1977. Did it only run one season in the US, does anyone know?
