2. VoR etc.leave the whole copyright issue, its a delicate balance, and its the same for all TV sites, so just leave it...

It's certainly not the same for all TV sites and no I won't leave it. This is a legitimate concern and unless I'm banned from this forum I will keep on making (what I believe) are valid points.

I'm not aware of any legal website that has near broadcast quality material on it and doesn't pay royalties to the copyright owners. I only discussed copyright when Jamez started talking about getting permission to use the themes elsewhere which clearly he does not have the right to do.

There's only one person here who acts immature manner and that's why visitors to this forum have felt the need to comment about the unprofessional attitude that Jamez has in regard to critisism and his blatent disregard of copyright law to suit his ends.

'Donate' the files. What a joke! You can't donate files. As soon as you put something on the net it's no longer safe. It's open for the billions of net users everyday.

Face facts. If you didn't want other sites getting this stuff, then perhaps you shouldn't have put the content online in the first place then if you are look for and exclusive.

I'm right by you BB.

Shall i take all the mp3s etc from the site and upload them to fcortunecity.com and build a website.

Max

No Max you may not do that. I assume your joking. Are you going to do the same to TV Home then? I think not.

I'm just bloody sick of this, and I think you all should just shut up! Its because of you people that Identz will no longer be putting up any new sounds!

I feel sad that its come to this, but you lot just do not apprieciate it at all.

I went to all the effort of getting those sounds, and for some of you to say that your gonna put them on your own sites is not fair, and is unbelievably hypocritical.

I'm bloody tamping over this, and truely disgusted at the behavior shown by some people here.

I don't have silly rules like Identz.

PS: I  just let people use the files from my site:)

They're not silly rules, and they aren't really rules at all. They're just simple requests which I expect people to regard. Its just your're so childish Max (What do you expect from a 11 yr old?!).

This reminds me of the time when I suggested an age 14 age limit for this forum, but there is no way it can be enforced, so it looks like the older members will just have to put up with people like you, Max.

the site is down as it changes servers
Just going back to this and it is a genuine question (I'm not having a go). Why does it change servers? Surely all the content is stored at http://www.btinternet.com/~identz/ and that is it. You don't delete the mp3/videos only to reupload them, do you?

Cheers, Asa

Hmm... nothing much to see yet, however I got most of the mp3's i wanted from isontine ages ago.

From my point of view I think the design is good, especially the strap along the top of the page. Yes, credit where credit it due. I also liked the behind the scenes pictures of N24.

On balance I cant really pass on what has been said in this thread. I am not in the least surprised by Jamez's 'spit the dummy' response. Why on earth would anyone ask for opinions if they cant handle the bad stuff?

I honestly feel that Mike McG's comments were measured and appropriate. There were in fact some positive points made too. The fact that Jamez sees it as 'insults being hurled' is more to do with his ever more alarming attitude problem. Life will not be easy for someone who behaves like this. I'm thinking either Jamez is an only-child or the youngest of the family. Either way a few slaps for your petulance when you were growing up (whenever that was) might have put you on the right path.

I look forward to your typical resonse. As a matter of fact, ive jotted one down in your usual style to see how close I am; 'Blah blah blah waaa!! waaa!! I hate you all Blah Blah, especially those BBC and industry people (who I want to be when im older) Blah, anyway your all geeks and homos Blah Blah'

Maybe Mr Ison should be dealing with your website PR?

I don't think I've encounted a more patronising little shi*e like Jamez.

He says he's taking it off, then put it's on, then get's his handbag out, then moans, then it's back.

Make up your fecking mind would you?

I speak for alot of the people on here, people don't care about the other crap you have, they only want sounds, no cruddy video that has broken links when Asa does a very good job of that.

...and if what I heard is true, you might have competition soon, as some of your soundz have appeared elsewhere, and as people say, it's not as if you own them.

Even Isontine probably regrets doing it with you, but did you think of that, no. You threw your tantrums.

Take the site off then, the sounds will pop up soon enough elsewhere and there's bu**er all you could do about it apart from throw your toys out of the pram *again*.

You had an agreement with insiders at the BBC to post high quality mp3's on the web for unlimited people to download but they only agreed to supply the content if it appears on your website only?

Am I missing the obvious here... some of the files were originally hosted on Mr James Ison's site, and now they have been *moved* to 'identz', therefore breaking your own rules...?
