I see Jamez got his wish and got the original thread closed. I wonder if his website will be open by the, 'Crack of Dawn', i.e. 5 hours time!

Hopefully this won't become a really long rant...
Yeah, Mr. P's attitude towards some individuals on the forum is questionable. BUT, can we just give Jamez his official '100 days' before everyone starts slagging him? I don't even think Identz has existed 100 days yet -> correct me if I'm wrong.
Hasn't every webmaster been in the position where there's just something in the layout of their site that they don't like, but can't be arsed to change it because it's gonna take a whole lot of work? Come on... I think that Jamez is just trying out different layouts, and unfortunately he has to shut down the site once in a while to completely implement it.
There's my rant.

Much better look! When I had a website, I never felt right with the layout, bcs there is this feelin that tells you it's not as perfect as it could be. And I had lots critizing me about closing the site and all that. Finding the rite look can actually take a LONG time depending on the person. Braging to the person about that only makes it worst.
Just to say, to new look has some sort of easier movement to me. Keep it up. Good Luck!

I'm glad you like the design. The frontpage looks a bit bare, and that animation needs a bit of attention
Just noticed that in 1024x768 rez, the pages don't stretch down to the bottom of the screen. doh!
I'll touch up the BBC News pages this week, and put the images up (although they are already out-of-date after yesterdays BBC National News studio
changes!)
