In one window I'm looking at TV Home and in the other, Identz.
Sorry Jamez, the previous look had a TV Home-esque look about it but this is taking the biscuit. The same blue? The same curvy frontpage tables, the same menu fonts, the same 'shaded out' menu links, the same heading font, the same frontpage top and bottom curve. These designs aren't copyright to me but I did spend a bit of time thinking about them. Why did you replace one similar website design with an even more similar website design? Does originality count for nothing these days.
And 'Any problems with this page?' > popup > feedback form?

BBC News 24 (97) ident 3 and the 97 Newsround themes are broke as well. But your in the middle of the update I'll just say your havent got round to them yet.

Right lets iron out some things!
That blue is a preset in DW4 - I only realised that it was the same as TV Home just now. There must be millions of sites that use that same preset blue.
The curved corners are there to give the impression of a smooth look, and the fonts 'Verdana' and 'Arial' are used on every other website i see!!
The shaded out links are there to let other people know what is coming up very soon, and the any problems feature - why are you laying into Identz?
Worried that it might eventually overtake TV Home in this imaginery popularity content inside your head? Grow up mate!

Its basically the menus that are similar. In other respects the sites dont look the same. The colours are similar, but they arnt the same - TV Home is #2864D0 and the menus in Identz are #0066CC. The other colours (apart from White obiovusly!) in the menu are differnt too.The fonts are similar, but frankly there are very few fonts that work at small sizes. Loads of sites use similar fonts. Identz uses bullets, TV Home doesnt. TV Home's menu goes bold when the mouse goes over, Identz doesnt. Otherwise the sites dont really look alike. Unless you claim a monopoly on curves, in which case I claim a monopoly on designs using squares and right angles and the 2 shades of blue I use in Corels default pallette.

My God thank you so much for the 97 news 24 idents -- they are AMAZING? Why the hell didn't the beeb use them all? Did u say there was another up-to-the-hour thing too? I don't think the third ident is working - and the second ident and third breakbumper are almost identical -- is that coincidental or is it a bad link?
