First QVC and now Ideal World, could it be that shopping channels are leading the way in sensible widescreen broadcasts?

Who will be next, BBC or Bid TV?

I wouldn't be surprised if it changes in a few days. It won't take them long to work out whether it's effecting sales.

Why on earth did it take them so long to go 16:9?

Just had a look on Sky, it's squashed to 4:3. Freeview is showing correctly in 16:9. Has it been correct on Sky at all yet?

I think they have not updated the flag which tells the telly how to display the image - Comedy Central took a month or so to do the same thing last year.
