I note that Ideal World is still running live programming, and that Peter Simon (despite his advanced age) isn't self isolating and still jiggling on a vibration plate of a Saturday evening. Our Maud was shocked, not only did he pull the bottom of his shorts up, not only did he show us his big entrance at the start of the night, not only was it 3 Flexis in your Flexibasket - terrific buying at home.

Anyway, I did enjoy the caption at the bottom of this:

"This is a pre-recorded VT segment filmed prior to COVID-19 restrictions"

It's the sort of mixed-up reference Peter Simon would enjoy, such as in this Bid video of him talking about the IBA:

As is probably not a surprise, they are selling (in between the vibration plates and watches) items like hand sanitiser and a "Bioarmor-Nano" product (that appears to be of no use against viruses - not that they're claiming that).

Notice they've been running reguar ads on ITV for products too.

Yes, they've been on the overnight ITV slot for a while now. It used to be that they went pre-recorded from midnight to (I think) 7am, but they're now live for the ITV simulcast, largely with separate presenters to the usual line-up.

"Isa--- wha.... leave it at home."

"The most perfect fitness equipment for you home for just twenty eight fivers."

"I know that Maude in Mold has been crying for this... Maude bid for this."

Oh how I miss Bid-up days.

No, I mean they are running ads during regular ITV programmes for their products, something I've not seen Ideal World, or indeed any shopping channel, do before.

Oh, I hand't realised that! Yes, I can't recall anyone else doing that.
